Learning and Pedagogy

Critical pedagogy firmly believes that

1) the teacher should always lead the classroom instruction

2) the learners need no reason independently

3) what children learn out of school is irrelevant

4) the experiences and perceptions of learners are important

the experiences and perceptions of learners are important
Critical pedagogy is a teaching approach inspired by Marxist critical theory and other radical philosophies.

It attempts to help students question and challenge posited ‘domination’ and to undermine the beliefs and practices that are alleged to dominate. In this approach, experiences and perceptions of learners are important.
