Judges of the Supreme Court of India may be removed from office
1) By the President acting in his discretion and individual judgement only on the ground of proved misbehaviour and incapacity
2) By the Chief Justice acting in his discretion and individual judgement only one the ground of corruptuion
3) By the Prime Minister acting with the aid and advice of the Union Council of Ministers only for violation of Constitutional provisions
4) By the president only on the ground of proved misbehaviour and incapacity after each Houose of Parliament passes an address for the purpose in the prescribed manner
